On February 6, 2024, a delegation from IPSAS, UPM, consisting of Professor Dr. Haslinda Abdullah, Associate Professor Dr. Haliza Abd Rahman, Professor Ts. Dr. Hj. Rusli Abdullah, and Miss Widad Emir Mohamad Arrif Emir, participated in a program organized by the Pertamedika Higher School of Health Sciences (STIKes Pertamedika) as an implementation of the collaboration between IPSAS and STIKes Pertamedika. This visit was warmly welcomed by Ns. Maryati, S. Kep., MARS, the Director of STIKes, Dr. Asep Saefudin, the Director of Pertamedika Foundation Education along with lecturers from STIKes and other supporting staffs.

The program agenda began with a community service activity titled "STIKes Pertamedika & UPM Malaysia Go To Community: Health Education for Sustainable Development," which was conducted in the Kebayoran Lama area. Among the shared topics presented by the IPSAS delegation were flood-related issues and their impacts, mental health, and digitalization awareness. STIKes, together with IPSAS, then visited the Community Health Center (PUSKESMAS), where IPSAS discussed community issues in the Kebayoran Lama area during the visit session. In the afternoon session of the program, STIKes invited the IPSAS delegation to give a public lecture to students at STIKes on the topic "Global Social & Health Issues Facing 2024." This lecture was well received by STIKes students, with attendance of more than 1050 students. This collaborative program between STIKes and UPM has forged a strong partnership between IPSAS and STIKes for future collaborative activities.
